Welcome to Maine Bird Lady

Jennifer Safford Kimball is a bird carver from Maine working in walnut, cherry and basswood.  Her work includes shore birds, song birds, and birds of prey, though she is always ready to try her hand at new birds.  Her carving focuses on the essence of her subject and also injects an element of whimsy to imbue each with personality.  Each bird is a unique, one of a kind, piece.  Her work can be seen at her studio in South Freeport, ME, at the Thos. Moser Showroom and Palmer & Company in Freeport, and in many private collections.  Shipping and handling will be charged commensurate with the size of the bird.
